Runaway Jury

This evening I watched Runaway Jury with my housemate.  It's a 2003 legal thriller, based on a John Grisham novel, starring Gene Hackman, Dustin Hoffman, John Cusack and Rachel Weisz.

It's really quite gripping, although slightly implausable at times.  And there are some great funny moments too.  Definitely worth a watch!

I think the film also has the potential to trigger discussion about why human beings yearn for justice, and whether it matters how justice is achieved. I'm definitely going to keep it up my sleeve for Christian Union film nights.
