The joy of sharing Jesus

I had such fun talking about Jesus with a nominally Muslim taxi driver this evening.  He asked me what job I had, and when I said I worked with Christian students, he asked what I meant by Christianity.  (Not a question I get every day.)

A fantastic conversation ensued!

Whenever I speak to people about what it means to be a Christian, I am blown away by how wonderful Jesus is:

A discussion about the differences between Christianity and other religions allowed me to describe the joy that I find in Jesus and the freedom of knowing that his cross has done it all.

A discussion about his fear of being changed by Islam, opened up the opportunity for me to talk about how I am being tranformed from the heart outward, so that I delight in what God desires.

A discussion about food laws gave me the opportunity to explain how Jesus has opened up a relationship with God to the whole world.

A discussion about the difference between the Koran and the Bible meant that I was able to talk about how wonderful the Bible is.

I love these kinds of conversations, because it makes my heart rejoice in my Saviour!
